"Tourists are being met with automatic weapons", Çollaku on the

Journalist Basir Çollaku spoke about the situation in the tourist village of Theth. He said that he sees the unprecedented situation and clashes between residents, including throwing Molotov cocktails and the police drawing weapons, as dangerous for tourism.

Çollaku said that through this action, Prime Minister Rama has instilled fear in foreigners visiting our country.

"Tourists are scared and think they have confused the place. They have booked in Albania and are in a war zone. We are talking about a place where law and state exist, not a place where the individual exists and everything else is a derivative of his actions, appetites and messages. Here this kind of violence that risks escalating, I don't know what image we can have when police with automatic weapons are targeting Albanian residents, of course.

"Terrified tourists remember that they have mixed up the place, they have booked in Albania and remember that they are in a war zone. Not only in Theth but I believe that this will be a blow to tourism in all of Albania, according to the morning mood of the prime minister, who is unhealthy even in the post-election period with his euphoric result, because there are other balances, other events, other important files, where his government partners, cabinet ministers, MPs, mayors, are there and are on the verge of prison," Çollaku told "A2 CNN".
