The protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office has also received the support of one of the most well-known Albanian fan groups. The "Red and Black Fans" fan group has decided to boycott the friendly match of the Albanian National Team against Luxembourg, joining the civic rally taking place in Tirana.
The news was confirmed during the protest, where members of the group were seen among citizens gathered in front of the government headquarters. Their decision comes at a time when the protest has entered its seventh day and is marking one of the highest participations since its launch.
Meanwhile, the Albanian National Team will take to the field at 8:00 PM to face Luxembourg in Coach Maran's second friendly test, after losing in the previous match to Israel.
In the red and black camp, the positive news is the return of striker Myrto Uzuni, who has fully recovered and has joined the team. Meanwhile, Anis Mehmeti is absent due to a flu-like condition and will not be available for today's challenge.
The rest of the group is in optimal condition and ready for the match, but the attention of some of the Albanian fans seems to have shifted from the stadium to the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where calls against the government and demands for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama continue.
