Lezha Police have executed an Appeals decision of the GJKKO and SPAK, confiscating 9 assets suspected of deriving from criminal activity.
Official sources announced today (December 3) that the assets are 7 land plots and 2 apartments. They are located in Shëngjin, Shëngjin Island and Lezha Island and have a total area of 33,815 m².
No detailed information is provided on who these illegal assets confiscated by the final decision of the Appeals Court of Kosovo belong to.
The police also explain that "during the last 2 months, 29 properties with a total area of approximately 132,322 m² have been seized in the Lezha region."
"Following the investigative and operational work, to trace criminal assets, as well as in implementation of the decision of the Criminal Court of Appeal, left in force by the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of the Lezha Police Department, in cooperation with specialists from the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets, confiscated 9 immovable properties obtained from criminal activity.
The properties, 7 land areas and 2 apartments, are located in Shëngjin, Shëngjin Island and Lezha Island and have a total area of 33,815 m².
"During the last 2 months, 29 properties with a total area of approximately 132,322 m² have been seized in the Lezha region," the announcement states.
