The Durrës Municipal Police has announced the temporary closure of the railway crossing in the area of the Sports Field in Sukth, due to interventions in the railway infrastructure. The closure will last for two consecutive nights, specifically today and tomorrow, from 00:00 to 04:00.
The focus of the works is the reconstruction of the Durrës-Tirana Public Transport Terminal (TPT) railway line as well as the construction of a new railway line connecting Durrës with Rinas International Airport (ANR). The works will be carried out at kilometer 10+418, on the Sukth-Kulë road segment and vice versa.
Police are calling on drivers from Sukthi, Manza and Ishmi who use this road to avoid passing during construction hours and to use alternative routes to avoid traffic jams or unnecessary delays.
This blockade is part of the railway infrastructure expansion and modernization projects, which are expected to significantly increase the quality of public transport and facilitate intercity movements in the future.

All vehicle drivers of the Administrative Unit Sukth, Manëz, Ishëm, who use the road segment Sukth-Kulla and vice versa Kulla-Sukth, at kilometer 10+418, are hereby notified that, on 28.08.2025 to 29.08.2025 from 00:00 to 04:00, as part of the reconstruction of the Durrës-Tirana Public Transport Terminal (TPT) railway line and the construction of the new railway line to Rinas International Airport (ANR), works will be carried out that will affect road traffic at the Fusha Sportive railway crossing, Sukth.
During this time, this crossing will be completely blocked on both sides due to interference with the railway infrastructure from works carried out by the company.
We ask citizens and drivers to avoid this road segment during the above-mentioned times and to follow alternative routes.
Municipal Police Services will be on site to supervise and control traffic.
