The State Police have launched a criminal investigation into a suspected online fraud scheme called "TXEX", which operates as a form of pyramid investment through digital platforms.
Investigations are being conducted by the Cyber Crime Directorate and the Economic and Financial Crime Directorate, which are working to legally document the activity and identify the persons involved.
Authorities warn citizens to avoid getting involved in platforms that promise immediate and unverified profits, while inviting anyone with information to immediately contact the relevant Police structures.

Specialized structures of the State Police are intensively continuing investigative and operational actions to prevent and crack down on illegalities that take place online to profit from citizens.
In this context, we inform you that the State Police, through the Cyber Crime Investigation Directorate and the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Directorate, based on the information provided, has launched a criminal investigation regarding a suspected pyramid investment scheme, through online platforms, and is continuing intensive work on legal documentation.
The State Police calls on all citizens to exercise increased caution and avoid applications or involvement in such platforms, which promise immediate and unverified profits.
For any suspicions or information that may assist the investigation, we encourage you to immediately contact the relevant structures of the State Police, specifically those of the Cyber Crime Investigation Directorate and the Economic and Financial Crime Investigation Directorate at the DPSSh, as well as the relevant sectors in each DVP.
