After more than three hours of protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, citizens continued marching on the streets of Tirana, dividing into several groups and blocking traffic on a number of main accesses to the capital.
According to footage from the ground, protesters have been moving on foot along the boulevard and streets around the center of Tirana, while there has been no shortage of calls and chants against the government and the project that is expected to be built in the Zvërnec area.
The participants were divided into several groups, spreading out to different areas of the city. As a result of the march, traffic was significantly disrupted in the area known as 9-Katëshet, near 15-Katëshet, as well as in the segments connecting the center of Tirana with Durrës Street.
Footage shows hundreds of citizens occupying traffic lanes, forcing vehicles to move with difficulty or stop for periods of time. Long lines of vehicles have formed at some points, while drivers have faced delays in their movements.

The march comes after the protest held in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where citizens demanded the suspension of the project in Zvërnec, the removal of the fence placed in the area, and the cancellation of a series of legal initiatives that, according to them, favor investments to the detriment of public assets and protected areas.

Organizers have warned that citizen reactions will continue in the coming days, emphasizing that opposition to the project will not stop with the protests held so far.
