The Kakavija border crossing will be blocked for several hours due to the Greek farmers' strike.

The Kakavija Border Police has been notified by the Greek Border Police that today, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Kakavija-Ioannina road axis, in the village of Kallpaq, will be blocked due to a protest that farmers will hold.

According to information, only vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to circulate.

"The Kakavija Border Police asks for the understanding of citizens and suggests planning trips by vehicle at other times of the day," the announcement states.

Greece has been holding protests for 3 days, blocking major roads. The day before, farmers clashed with police during a rally.

Meanwhile, according to Greek media, farmers have announced that their protest will continue with the blockade of ports.
