Enton Abilekaj spoke about the meeting held by some of the exponents of the DP, led by Ervin Salianji. Abilekaj stated that Berisha's authority in the DP has been called into question after losing the elections and now there is open talk about his successor in the DP.
According to him, critical voices and dissatisfaction within the DP towards the party's leadership is growing day by day.
"Until May 11, Berisha was an undisputed authority in the DP. With that authority, he made the first speech, overthrowing Basha. After the elections, it was seen that Berisha got worse results than Basha and his authority was called into question. What we see as chaos, disorganization, is a questioning of Berisha's authority. The discussion about the successor is being held openly, Berisha's authority is insufficient. This is the reason why that coffee, which took place among the most voted people, aroused fear. On one side we have people with votes, voted people, who have their own votes and we have an unvoted leadership structure, which was included in a closed list, which did not even appear in the campaign. The only person who holds them is Berisha with very shaky authority.
The chairman of the FRPD says that if Berisha does not bring us elections within a year, he must leave. Salianji was here and spoke. Alimehmeti is skeptical of the leadership. Aulon Kalaja is not discussed. We are dealing with a decline in Berisha's authority, a decline in voter turnout, because of those he supports and keeps in the unelected leadership.
