The fire situation in the Poros forest in Vlora continues to be critical.
The flames have advanced, burning forest massifs, mainly pine trees, and are approaching the hydroelectric power plant area in the Novosela administrative unit.
Thick smoke has covered the area and spread towards the city of Vlora.
At this moment, numerous firefighting and civil emergency forces are on the ground, while a helicopter is operating, taking water from the sea and dropping it on the fire.
