Another actor has joined today's protest in Tirana, on the 10th day of the civic rally against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Renowned actor Mehdi Malkaj addressed the protesters, calling for national unity and civic engagement in defending the country's interests. He said that Albania has faced many challenges over the years and that citizens have a responsibility to prevent it from being harmed.
During his speech, Malkaj also addressed the Albanians of Kosovo, remembering the sacrifices made over the years for the national cause and the raising of the Albanian flag.
"They have tried to tear Albania apart, they have torn it to pieces. It is our duty to protect our Albania. I appeal to Dardania, Kosovo, because they too have shed a lot of blood to raise the flag in Vlora," said actor Mehdi Malkaj.
