Former Head of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beçi, spoke about the Constitutional Court's decision on the Balluk case. Beçi explained that if one of the three judges of the Constitutional Court's College of Judges disagrees, then the case does not go to a plenary session.
He emphasized that this request will be forwarded to a meeting of judges. According to him, they will not review the request on its merits but rather its transfer to a plenary session to be in accordance with the rules of the law.
" I think that the constitutional court finds it difficult to determine a specific object in the specific case that was violated and a possible conflict between the executive branch and the judiciary."
"It's difficult because if you look at it, the Court of Corruption and Organized Crime has implemented the Criminal Procedure Code letter by letter. It has also referred to the electoral law ," he said on the "Now" show on Euronews Albania.
