Tirana will host the controversial rapper Kanye West's concert tomorrow, an event full of criticism for the Rama government, which, in order not to 'embarrass' Albania, removed 4 billion lek from the Emergency Fund for a private activity.
The stadium is built on the Tirana-Durres axis and a dedicated transport line has been set up for all citizens who will attend the concert. Spectators are advised not to travel by car, but to use this dedicated transport line, or urban public transport.
Meanwhile, from 07:00 on Saturday morning until midnight, traffic restrictions will begin on several axes. On the secondary, Durrës-Tirana route, traffic will be restricted and this axis will function only in the outbound direction, for subjects.
All roads to be blocked from tomorrow at 07:00
-From 07:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the secondary axis of the “Durrës-Tirana” highway, from “Eiffeli” to “Casa Italia”. We clarify that this segment will only function in the exit direction, for entities.
-From 07:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the exit lane of the “Durrës-Tirana” highway, at the “Casa Italia” roundabout;
-From 12:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited on the segment “”Casa Italia” – “Pavarësia” street – “Sokrat Miho” street”;
-From 12:00 to 24:00, traffic will be prohibited in the segment "Sokrat Miho Street - Kasem Shima Street - 7 Nëntori Street", which will operate only in the outbound direction.
-Also, from the Institute Bridge to "Casa Italia" there may be partial traffic blockages, depending on the flow of participants.

For the smooth running of the concert, the government has allocated a fund of 4 million euros, a normative act that has also been submitted to the Parliament and is expected to be approved within July. The opposition has reacted sharply, pointing out that the government's financing for the concert constitutes almost half of the emergency reserve fund, and an abuse of the normative Act.
