The return of migrants to Greece after celebrating Orthodox Easter in their homeland has brought increased flow to the Kapshtica border crossing.
According to information from the field, long lines of vehicles have formed at this crossing point, with dozens of vehicles waiting and a column reaching over 1 kilometer. The flow has led to slow movements and delays for travelers.
Customs sources indicate that the Albanian side is operating with 5 exit counters, working at full capacity to cope with the situation. Meanwhile, the Greek side has 6 entry lanes in operation.
Despite the measures, the high number of passengers has created traffic congestion, and the flow is expected to continue in the coming hours.
