Doloreza Musabelliu said that the fact that she is a woman will not have an impact on her work as a potential leader of SPAK.
"A leader must have certain qualities, the ability to make quick decisions, the ability to lead with vision, the ability to build a spirit of cooperation among members, the ability to cope with pressure. I don't see any of these being related to gender," she said in response to questions from KLP members.
She added that her work will focus on the importance given to the duration of investigations and the non-extension, where possible, of the detention period.
Musabelliu was also asked about sensitive issues related to investigative priorities and potential dilemmas in cases where investigations affect senior officials.
"This is a very tricky question, very difficult, because there are two basic points for the subject that we have to investigate. I think we should go in parallel, because we cannot neglect one or the other. We are divided into sections, because it is dangerous to neglect issues that are very important."
You are an investigator for a high-ranking official and you receive advice or signals to review the investigation of that case, saying that it could affect the stability of the country, and you as the head of the institution are faced with this dilemma: preserving the stability of the country or continuing the investigation. What would you do?
"What I would do is inform the prosecutor of the case and personally distance myself from this matter, because the only one in charge of the case is the prosecutor of the case and I would ask him to respect the law and the Constitution. No other advice should be taken into account," said Musabelliu.
