After ending his collaboration with Rexhiana, Elvis Kabashi set out in search of a new team, with the Albanian midfielder trying to find a deal with Serie C team Askoli.
Everything was normal up to this point, but not for long. Askoli President Bernardino Paseri said that the agreement with Kabashi failed, as the latter requested to live on the coast.
" We chose not to sign Kabashi because we are a club that does not want to compromise on its principles. We made a pact with the city and we respect it."
"If a player wants to come and dictate the rules, Askoli is not the place where he can have this luxury. A player who places residence on the coast as a final condition in a season like this is not welcome ," said the number one of the Askoli club.
