The "Najara" issue has now jumped beyond sports and the discussion about an athlete, to move into a broader and more delicate, human and social situation.
She feels discriminated against, as she mentioned in the interview given exclusively to "Top Channel" on Monday, but still isolated, alone, in Tirana and simply with the support of the psychologist appointed by the club and the girls on the team themselves.
Although several thousand km away, her mother contacted "Top Channel" to say something about the issue, but above all to ask for help for her daughter.
" Hello, I am Najara's mother and I am very pleased to have noticed that you are helping and supporting my daughter, because unfortunately, I am very far from her and I am very upset that she is suffering. I would like to have a lawyer who would take responsibility and hold those who are doing this to her, and who are making her experience this difficult situation , "says Klaudia Gulart.
As if to clarify for anyone who has doubts about her gender, Najara's mother has also sent us these photos, to illustrate the childhood of a baby girl, and a very beautiful one at that:
" She is a girl who is loved by her entire family, as she was raised by me alone. I have been a mother and father to her and what is happening is inexcusable. I hope that justice will be served and that she will be compensated for all the moral damage that is being caused to her and that all the bad people who have opposed her will be punished ."
Once again seeking understanding and awareness for a foreign girl, several thousand km away from home, alone and facing a media and public storm that she found herself in against her will, Najara's mother also shares a human, painful family intimacy.
" She is obviously a woman and I feel sorry for what is happening, that the little one has grown up with trauma, watching her father rape me, when I was still married ," says Gulart.
