Real Madrid's Brazilian striker, Vinicius, was one of the protagonists of "El Clasico" with his play against Barcelona, but also with his outbursts of nervousness when he was replaced by Xabi Alonso, or even at the end for the confrontation with Lamin Jamal.
The striker was filmed threatening to leave Real Madrid during his post-substitution outburst, where he did not hold back on insults towards the coach. Today, he has publicly apologized, with a message on social media, which actually omitted the name of the person he had insulted the most, Xabi Alonso.
" Today I want to apologize to all Madrid fans for my reaction after being substituted in El Clasico."
Just as I did personally during today's training, I also want to apologize once again to my teammates, the club and the president.
Sometimes passion gets the better of me as I always want to win and help my team. My competitive nature stems from the love I feel for this club and all that it represents.
"I promise that I will continue to fight every second for the good of Real Madrid, just as I have done since day one ," Vinicius wrote on social media.
