Albania very close to the dream of participating in the World Cup; the Rossoneri

Albania is realizing everyone's dream of participating in a World Cup.

The Reds will play the last two finals, first against Andorra and then against England, to achieve something that would be historic, as they have never before been able to be in the "Play Off". Undoubtedly, the Reds' group has been very difficult, as they have had opponents like England and Serbia, with the latter having fared the best, having obtained a draw and a victory in the direct matches between them.

It was expected that the Serbs would be a hard-fought match and perhaps more aggressive on the field, due to the problems that have often been caused outside of football. But Albania holds the record in these qualifiers, as it is undoubtedly one of the teams with the fewest yellow cards. In the first 6 matches it has played, the Rossoneri have received only 5 yellow cards, which have been divided into several matches and there are challenges where there has been no punishment.

Berat Gjimshiti received two yellow cards, while Juljan Shehu, Mario Mitaj and Rei Manaj each received one card. The striker from Lushnja was booked after the goal he scored in Leskovc against Serbia, while Shehu and Mitaj were also booked against the Serbs. Gjimshiti was booked in two different matches, first against England and then against Serbia, leaving him out for the match against Latvia./Panorama Sport
