Spain defender Mark Kukurej has made a surprising statement on the eve of the World Cup final, immediately attracting the attention of the media and fans.
The Spanish footballer has promised that, if "La Roja" is declared world champion, he will get a tattoo of coach Luis de la Fuente's face and then announce his retirement from the national team.
" If we win, I will tattoo De la Fuente's face on my body and announce my departure from the national team ," declared Kukureja.
The defender added that a possible triumph in the World Cup would be the pinnacle of his career with the Spanish jersey and that after such a success there would be no more goals to achieve.
" The World Cup, the European Championship... what more can you do? I would call him on Monday and tell him I'm closing everything down ," he said.
