Ervin Bulku, deputy coach of the Albanian National Team, spoke on the eve of the away match against Latvia.
Bulku described it as a very important match for the group's progress and victory is expected.
Referring to Manaj's missed penalty against Serbia, Bulku said that even the greatest players lose and for this reason one should not be demoralized.
" It's a very important match for continuity and for the objective, which is to qualify for the World Cup, or at least go to the play-offs."
Even the greatest players have missed penalties. It doesn't mean that you miss a penalty and demoralize a player. We have faith in all the players. We want to win the match for the objective we have.
We played a good game against Serbia and that's why the coach decided not to change the attack. We hope that the attackers will be unblocked as soon as possible.
The captain could have been others. Everyone is a captain and important. They represent the national team jersey and are important. There are many components when choosing a captain. There was a runoff before the match and Silvinjo chose Manaj. In the national team, you have to look at the players with the most matches and leaders.
"Looking at the opponent we face, they play with 3-5-2 and they are positioned very well. There is no easy match, despite what it looks like on paper. We hope to do our best, " Bulku said.
