A recent event has alarmed Paris, just a few hours before the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.
A person climbed the Eiffel Tower, alerting all the residents who were there, who were immediately evacuated from the area. The causes of this act are still unknown, as the police were immediately put in motion.
It is reported that the Eiffel Tower will not be used for the closing ceremony, which will be held at the Stade de France and will start at around 21:00.
According to the Associated Press, more than 30,000 police officers have been deployed across Paris and surrounding areas to oversee the final Olympic events and closing ceremony.
