Serbia coach Dragan Stojkovic and the team captain held a press conference this afternoon. The Serbian team arrived in Tirana at noon and was escorted to the hotel under heavy security.
A little while ago they headed to "Air Albania", where the training session will take place, as the coach and captain appeared before the media.
The Serbian coach praised the Rossoneri, saying they have a good team, while singling out coach Silvinjo. According to him, Serbia needs to be careful, because Albania can punish them.
" This is the first match for us in the qualifiers, Albania has played two matches. Albania is a good team, has good players and a great coach like Silvinjo. We have to be careful and focused. We must not make mistakes, because they can punish us.
We have followed Albania's last five matches. They are a motivated and well-prepared team. As a team they are confident and self-assured. I think that for what they showed in the European Championship, they deserved to be there.
"It reflects their aggressiveness on the field. They are quality players. Strakosha is excellent, Gjimshiti is also. They are a solid team. We have told the players what they need to. We have given accurate information to the players. I think the opponent has done the same thing ," said Stojkovic.
Although he highly praised the red and black team, he said that they are aiming for the 3 points. The Serbian coach said that he is not satisfied with the draw at all.
" We came to Tirana for a win and not a draw. We will do our utmost to achieve this. I am satisfied with everything that has been done for this match. I am happy with the way the players have behaved for this match. Let's see the next training session and if everything is in order, the formation will be the one I have in mind. Every match is different from one to the next. We must be focused on beating Albania. We cannot win against Albania if we do not play very well ," Stojkovic declared.

The journalist tried to take the match to another level, the political one, by asking the coach about the tense relations between the two countries. But this irritated the coach, who said that he came for football and is not interested in anything else.
" I'm not thinking about relations between Albania and Serbia at all. I don't know how you can ask such a question ," said technician Dragan Stojkovic.
