Accompanied by strict security measures, the Serbian national team players and staff have left the hotel where they are staying and headed towards the stadium for the training session.
Two buses and numerous police forces have accompanied the Serbian team throughout their entire itinerary. The hotel where they have been staying since their arrival in Tirana is under high surveillance and constant checks by the State Police.
They will hold training at the "Air Albania" stadium, where a press conference is also planned for the Serbian coach and one of his team's players.
The Serbian Federation has published a message on social media, describing the trip to Albania as "a pleasant flight".
“ After less than an hour of pleasant flight, the Serbian expedition arrived in Tirana, where it is expected to play its first match in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against the host country, Albania, on Saturday, June 7. Upon arrival at the airport, the players and coaching staff were waiting on the tarmac for the buses that took them to the hotel where they will stay during their stay in Tirana. All traffic from the airport to the hotel, with a secured escort, was closed, only for guests from Serbia ,” the Serbian Federation writes.
