According to Sky Sport, Lecce have placed Hysaj at the top of their list of targets for the defensive department. The Reds are looking to capitalise on the 31-year-old's experience, believing he could be a key element in their bid to secure another season in the Italian top flight.
Leçe comes after the departure of Albanian midfielder Ylber Ramadani and the management hopes that Hysaj will accept their project for the new season.
If the parties reach an agreement, Hysaj will wear the jersey of the fourth club in his Serie A career, after experiences with Empoli, Napoli and Lazio.
