Real Madrid-Barcelona is the match that everyone is waiting for in Spain and not just this Sunday.
The "classic" is the hottest, most spectacular match and there is usually no need to add fuel to the fire, but Lamine Yamal has decided to do so on the eve of the match.
The 18-year-old Barcelona star needed just a few words, spoken in a joking tone, to cause a real media earthquake in Spain.
"Real Madrid? They always steal and complain," said the Spaniard, a guest on Ibai Llano's "Chup Chup" podcast.
The video quickly went viral around the world and ignited the atmosphere around the "Clasico" just three days before the super match, especially after Yamal teased the eternal rivals again: "Is it difficult to score against Real? The last time we played in the championship at the Bernabeu, it ended 4-0. Do you remember?".
The reaction in Spain was immediate and often harsh:
"He doesn't understand what he represents and what he can say. He's only 18 years old. No player can say that a club steals matches," fans said on social media.
