Igli Tare is building Milan from scratch, with young players, to whom he wants to add a little experience from the veterans in Serie A. And one of these "experts" he has chosen remains Berat Gjimshiti.
Despite recent approaches to the Rossoneri's backline, media close to the club insist that Gjimshiti remains on the wish list of Milan's sports director, who knows him very well and has no difficulty finding common ground with the Albanian national team defender.
The transfer formula, meanwhile, could be a bit more complicated. Tare intends to include Gjimshiti in the negotiations he is conducting with Atalanta for the transfer of Yunus Musah to the Bergamo team. The American is not a starter for Allegri and this has prompted Tare to start talks with Atalanta, who have offered 25 million euros for his card.
Milan are asking for 30 million euros for the player they bought for a little over 21 million euros two years ago. Meanwhile, Tare hopes to include Gjimshiti's card in the transfer package, as an experienced element that can do the job in the back of the red and black team, which undoubtedly needs a player who knows all the tricks of the trade, in these moments when it is being rebuilt from scratch.
