Kristjan Asllani is expected to be officially announced as the new player of the Torino team in the coming hours. The midfielder of the Albanian national team has chosen this club to continue his career after his economic requirements have been met, unlike Bologna which had been persistently seeking him in the past days.
Asllani will undergo medical examinations and then sign the contract, to introduce himself and start working under the orders of coach Marko Baroni, who has insisted on having the red and black midfielder on the team.
The Turin side hope to have him ready for the first match of the championship, which ironically pits Asllan against a team he knows very well, Inter. This Monday, the first match of the Serie A week sees Inter host Torino at the San Siro, with Asllan having the opportunity to show in a stadium he knows very well that perhaps the Blues were wrong to let him leave and not give him the chances he deserved.
