Germany defeated Switzerland 4-3 in a recent friendly match, but beyond the result, attention has focused on a conversation between Granit Xhaka and German defender Jonathan Tah.
The two players have known each other since they were teammates at Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga. According to Sky Sports, after the match, Xhaka asked Tah for information about Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany.
The 33-year-old midfielder has expressed interest in both the Belgian coach's tactical approach and his character as a team leader. The conversation is interpreted as a clear signal of Xhaka's interest in a possible transfer to the Bavarian club, which would mark his return to the Bundesliga.
