Çezena "shields" Kristian Shpendi, the Italian team offers to renew the contract to the Albanian striker

Kristian Shpendi continues with the excellent form of the Cesena team. In the first three official matches for this season, the Albanian striker has scored four goals, surprising everyone.

At the weekend, the 21-year-old scored a brace in Serie B, in a 2-1 win over Karrareza. Seeing the extraordinary form, Cezena have decided to shield the attacker, offering him a contract renewal.

This was confirmed by the sports director himself, Fabio Artiko, who stated that an agreement has been reached to extend the cooperation for four more seasons.

" With Shpendi and his manager, we found the chord on Saturday when we were in Bentegodi. Kristian deserved praise and will sign a four-year contract. Everything is done. I think it will come as soon as the market closes ," stated Artiko.

Last season, Shpendi made a special contribution to Cesena in Serie C, securing his team's promotion, with 20 goals scored in 32 games.
