Skënderbeg Club has issued an official statement today regarding the accusations raised by Aston Villa for racist chants towards its players and staff during the UEFA Youth League match with U19 in Korça.
The English announced that they would address UEFA, bringing the reaction of Skanderbeg who called this a fabrication to justify the 1-1 draw against the Albanian team and a lack of respect for the Korça team.

The "Skënderbeu" Football Club was informed today of UEFA's decision to open a disciplinary case for racist chants in the Ethics and Disciplinary Committee for the UEFA Youth League match, Skënderbeu U19 – Aston Villa U19.
KF Skënderbeu categorically denies the accusations of the English team, stating that at no time were there racist chants directed at any player, either on or off the field.
This fact is easily verifiable from the Report of the Referees and the Match Delegate, who stated that they did not witness any racist chants towards the opposing team.
KF Skënderbeu expresses its indignation at the fact that a professional club like Aston Villa justifies the result of the match by fabricating untrue situations that have no connection to what happened at the "Skënderbeu" stadium.
We encourage the Aston Villa club, which had the rights to broadcast this match LIVE, and enjoys the footage of the match, to make available footage instead of fact-free and disgusting fabrications.
We are witnesses of an organization in the standards required by UEFA and throughout the match, both the organizers and the fans present in the stadium have shown RESPECT, FAIR-PLAY AND INCLUSION, values that the game of Football itself carries within itself, values that have not been respected at any moment by the Aston Villa Club, whose leaders before, during and after the match have shown disrespect towards our Club.
