In Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an extraordinary atmosphere of celebration erupted. The city's main street was filled with thousands of fans, who came out to celebrate the national team's great success.
Flags fluttered everywhere, while torches, fireworks and cheers from fans created an electrifying atmosphere. The streets were filled with national team jerseys, turning downtown Sarajevo into the heart of the celebration.
The path to glory was paved by the great talent Kerim Alajbegovic. There were also celebrations in Bugojno, his family's birthplace, although he himself was born in Germany. Residents took to the streets to share the joy of the success of the footballer who hails from their city.
Even Mostar, the home town of the national team coach, didn't sleep that night. The city was engulfed in celebrations that lasted until the early hours of the morning, as fans celebrated one of the greatest successes in Bosnia and Herzegovina's football history.
