Brazil ended the group stage of the 2026 World Cup with a victory, triumphing 3-0 over Scotland and securing first place in Group C.
Carlo Ancelotti's team dominated the match from the first minute, with Vinicius Junior the main protagonist of the challenge. The striker opened the scoring in the 7th minute, taking advantage of a mistake by the Scottish defense. He then had a goal disallowed for offside, but managed to score again at the end of the first half with a precise header, sending Brazil to the break with a 2-0 lead.
In the second half, the Brazilians calmly managed the game, while Matheus Kunja sealed the victory with the third goal of the match.
The match also marked the return of Neymar to the Brazilian national team. The striker was activated in the final minutes and had several attempts to find the net, but failed to register among the scorers.
