Amidst widespread speculation about the future of Michael Oliseh, German media are reporting that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have reached an informal understanding on how to proceed in the transfer market.
According to Sport Bild, the Madrid club is not currently considering a move for the French striker from Bayern Munich. The report also states that relations between the two clubs remain excellent and free of tension.
It is learned that in early June, Bayern president Herbert Hainer and his Real Madrid counterpart Florentino Perez agreed to an "informal non-aggression pact." According to this understanding, neither club will attempt to transfer players from the other side without prior communication and coordination between the leaders.
The purpose of this agreement is to maintain good relations between the clubs and avoid artificially increasing values in the transfer market.
Meanwhile, reports from Sky and Transfer Update - The Show suggest that Bayern Munich have no concerns about the future of Michael Oliseh. According to sources close to the Bavarian club, there have been no negotiations or contacts from Real Madrid regarding the Frenchman.
" Bayern are 100 percent sure that Oliseh will stay this summer ," a source at the club was quoted as saying.
Real Madrid have also reacted officially, denying any contact with the player or his representatives. The Spanish club has stressed its respect and good relations with Bayern Munich, while expressing regret for the speculation published in the media.
According to the same reports, Bayern Munich is considering the possibility of extending Oliseh's contract until 2031. If the deal is reached, the Frenchman is expected to become one of the team's highest-paid players, on the same level as names like Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala.
Currently, the 24-year-old's contract with the Bavarian club is valid until 2029. Oliseh joined Bayern Munich from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, after activating his €53 million release clause.
Since moving to Munich, he has been one of the team's most prominent players, recording 42 goals and 54 assists in 107 official matches.
