The "Mikheil Meskhi" stadium, known until 2005 as the "Lokomotivi" stadium, is the one that will host Thursday's match between Iberia and Partizan at 18:00.
This facility is mostly used for football matches and occasionally for rugby matches. The stadium was renovated in 2001 for the last time and has a capacity of 27,223 spectators. It is the second largest stadium in Georgia, after "Boris Paichadze".
The owner of this stadium is the Georgian government, as it must be said that it will be played on a grass field with high standards in terms of size. The field is 105 meters long and 68 meters wide. This stadium is named after Mikheil Meskhi, one of the most outstanding footballers in the history of Georgian football.
This plant has earned three stars in the standardization done by UEFA. To make a comparison, the "Air Albania" stadium holds four stars.
