Former model Egla Harxhi has given a different account of her life in France, marriage, parenthood and career.
Asked by Rudina Magjistari about a photo with French President Emmanuel Macron, Egla Harxhi says that during the chance meeting she had with the head of state, she did not hesitate to talk about Albania.
Rudina Magjistari: Egla, I want to ask you about a photo, because you are shown there with Macron, the French President, and tell me a little about when this photo was taken?
Egla Harxhi: This photo was taken last year, in July 2024. It is a place where President Emmanuel Macron goes very often with his wife. We happened to be there and were introduced by mutual friends. We sat for almost an hour communicating about art, discussing cultural projects, about the cultural future of France.
Rudina Magjistari: Did he find out that you were from Albania? He's coming here too, he's starting to like Albania.
Egla Harxhi: We also talked a little about Albania, but of course the conversation was more directed towards art. We have met often after this moment, in fact, because we are currently working with the Ministry of Culture to organize a cultural event.
