After several months of silence, Belen Rodriguez has given a long, unfiltered interview to "Chi".
The famous model has revealed previously untold details about her private and professional life: from the health problems that caused her to leave television to her relationship with her sister, Cecilia.
Belen talks about depression
"Depression is a well-known illness that deals with sadness, with things that have happened to you. I don't play the victim, everyone is the architect of their own destiny. I am someone who always takes the blame for their own actions. It's not that the end of my marriage is the focal point. I haven't had an easy life, I left home at 16, I achieved my goals by fighting and giving up something. So many years on TV, stressful fame, so many things that I have carried on my shoulders without compromise. I have never had anyone to help me, I have never been "the girlfriend of...", these are things that ultimately weigh on your personal life.
I had moments that were not easy to face and, when you have lived those moments, you never go back to the way you were before. Now I can say that I am down to earth. I said: "Belen, we are 40 years old, a little less". I am very delicate, I have changed in relation to the choices". "I recognized myself in the whole song of Fedez, Battito. I do not always approve of Federico, but I liked that song, he was good. I would not wish what I experienced on anyone", this is how Belen begins her story.
Regarding her relationship with her sister, Cecilia, the famous blogger said that there are no problems between them.
"In life we have argued at least 5000 times and life is long, but we are sisters and we always find each other. We don't need to share our relationship on social networks," explained Belen, who also spoke about her sister's pregnancy:
"It's wonderful and I can't wait to see my granddaughter. Cecilia has worked hard to get here and I'm happy that she chose to name her child after our grandmother, Clara Isabel, a woman we loved immensely."
Does Belen have a boyfriend?
"I'm single and chaste. I don't like this thing of going from one bed to another, I find it dirty. I've always been in a relationship. I would be convinced by a man who is not selfish, intelligent, accomplished, but also sensitive, with a feminine side.
"But this is not about feminism, for me, men wear pants and women need to be protected. Men have muscles, but also fragility. It's good to see this side of them, because it makes you feel equal," Rodriguez said.
