Model Oriola Marashi has publicly apologized for a phrase she used in a video, where she said she bought clothes "at the store in Lapraka".
In a post on "Instastory", Oriola says that he was not aware that the word "gabi" has an offensive connotation for the Roma community and for this he is apologizing.
"In a video I posted earlier, I inadvertently used a word that I did not know was offensive to the Roma community. I have removed the video and I want to apologize if anyone felt hurt. I have great respect for every culture and community in my country," she wrote.
In the video now deleted from her profile, people commented on the model's words, telling her to be more careful, as they could be offensive and racist.
