European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has called for political unity and compromise in Kosovo, stressing that institutional stability is key to the country's advancement towards the European Union. She also expressed readiness to intensify cooperation with Kosovo in the European integration process and the implementation of the Growth Plan.

European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, has asked political forces to unite and find compromise to build institutional stability so that Kosovo can progress on its path towards the European Union.

Kos is the first official from Brussels to welcome the progress of the electoral process and congratulate Albin Kurti on his victory in Sunday's elections.

"I look forward to returning to Kosovo as soon as possible to intensify work on Kosovo's European integration and to continue engagement regarding financing under the Growth Plan," she said.
