Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace in Paris, where the focus was on Kosovo's security and relations with Serbia within the framework of the dialogue in Brussels.
According to the announcement of the Prime Minister's Office, the meeting discussed the implementation of the agreement for the full normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the security situation in the region. Both leaders emphasized the continued role of NATO in Kosovo, namely the KFOR mission, as well as the contribution of the European Union missions. The discussions also included issues of security and integration at the European level.
At the meeting, Kurti stated that Kosovo remains fully aligned with the European Union's foreign and security policy. He highlighted the progress in internal reforms, referring to the latest EU report, according to which Kosovo has made progress in 35 out of 38 areas and is ranked among the most successful countries in the region. The Prime Minister requested France's support for advancing the European integration process and for Kosovo's membership in international organizations.
In terms of security, Kurti stressed the importance of border protection, the development of domestic defense capacities, and cooperation with Euro-Atlantic allies. He also addressed relations with Serbia in the context of the EU-mediated dialogue.

The meeting confirmed the mutual commitment to further deepening the European and bilateral partnership between Kosovo and France ," the Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.
