Democratic Party MP Jorida Tabaku, in a reaction on social media, has raised concerns about the level of corruption in the country, describing it as a consolidated system that, according to her, directly affects the poverty of Albanian families.
In her post, Tabaku emphasizes that corruption “has not been a phenomenon for 12 years, but a system,” claiming that public tender procedures are formally open, but in practice predetermined.
According to Tabaku, a limited number of companies benefit from a significant share of public funds, receiving over 30% of tenders.
The opposition MP directly links this situation to the standard of living of citizens, stating that "public money goes to a minority, while Albanian families pay the price."
In her reaction, she also mentions the role of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), emphasizing that this institution is investigating the consequences, while accusing the government of continuing to manufacture the cause of the phenomenon.
Tabaku concludes the message with the call that corruption at high levels brings poverty to Albanian families.
"Corruption, the cause of poverty in Albanian homes. For 12 years, corruption is no longer a phenomenon, it is a system.
Tenders seem open, but they are predetermined. Public money goes to a minority, while Albanian families pay the price.

Meanwhile, a handful of companies receive over 30% of public tenders. This is not a case. It is a system. SPAK is investigating the consequences. But the government continues to produce the cause. Corruption at the top, poverty at home.
