KAS member Ledio Braho stated that the recount process was intended to ensure transparency.
On the show 'Drejt' on Oranews, Braho said that since there were many problems, many candidates raised claims regarding the votes, and to create transparency and clean up the counting process in the CEAZ, we decided to open the ballot boxes for the Tirana district.
"To be honest, I had no expectations that there would be trafficking of thousands of votes as was alleged and the process showed that.
Apart from a few dozen votes that, in relation to the number of votes in the Tirana district, are less than 1% of the votes, we saw that there were simply either different assessments that could be made of a ballot due to subjectivity or there were human errors.
The only change that came was within the DP between two candidates, neither of whom currently holds seats in the Assembly.
A relocation between Dogjan and Murriz, this was the only relocation.
"The recount process removed all the mud that had been thrown at the counters," Braho said.
