During the march, chants such as "The end has come for you," "Edi Rama, you thief," and slogans demanding the resignation of the prime minister are constantly heard.
Dozens of banners with messages against the government have been displayed on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, while thousands of citizens are marching towards the Prime Minister's Office on the fifth day of the protest.
Chants of "The end has come for you," "Edi Rama, resign!" and "No to Zvërnec" accompanied the march of protesters, who are demanding the cancellation of the project.
During the march, there were also chants: "Albania is not for sale", "Our voice, our dignity, our future".
"You cock, you hound, resign as soon as possible, Rama in prison, Berisha in prison," was one of the protesters' calls to Rama.
Participation is higher compared to previous days of mobilization.
At the head of the march were women and children, in a symbolic message for the protection of the environment and the future of young generations.
While moving towards the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters chanted in chorus against the government and the political class.
Protesters also articulated calls against the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, demanding political and legal accountability for key figures in Albanian politics.
Organizers have stated that the protests will continue until the project is withdrawn.
The presence of police forces has been increased along the entire march route and around the perimeter of the Prime Minister's Office, while the protest has so far been taking place without incident.
