The Democratic Party will initiate procedures for the dismissal of the Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi.
This was stated to the media by the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi.
Gazment Bardhi spoke after the DP group meeting, saying that Edi Rama violated the rights of the opposition.
"In the assembly hall, one must behave within the rules, present the composition of the council members and then each of us was prepared to conduct a constructive parliamentary debate. Rama will not dictate the behavior of the opposition, he will not shut it up, and he should respect the constitution and the solemnity of a session that is the only one whose agenda is determined by the constitution. During Rama's speech, the Speaker of the Assembly, a puppet commanded by Zoto and Rama, gave the floor twice to make proposals to the leader of the SP group, and while according to the regulation for each proposal there is the right to speak, one speaker for and one speaker against. On behalf of the group, we have requested the floor twice to express our position as majority deputies. Starting the second session again with a violation of the Constitution, the regulation violated the rights of the opposition, only the puppet of Klodian Zoto could do this," said Bardhi.
