Former MP Monika Kryemadhi spoke this Thursday after leaving the SPAK premises, where she was presented with investigative materials related to the file against her. In a statement to the media, she opposed the interpretation made of the telephone communications included in the investigation, saying that they were taken out of context.
The mayor focused particularly on communications with the former head of AKEP, Piro Xhixho, emphasizing that there were no conversations related to corruption or abuse of office.
" I am pleased with these messages. I loved them so much. I kept them because there were so many beautiful things ," said Kryemadhi, as he commented on the communications managed in the file.
She also read to reporters part of the exchanges with Prime Minister Edi Rama, which according to her are related to the AMC relicensing process. According to the former MP, the communications included in the file do not prove any legal violation and have been misinterpreted by investigators.
