As the first speaker of this legislature, Prime Minister Edi Rama first congratulated the new Speaker of the Parliament, Niko Peleshi, for a very successful job.
He then warned the opposition to change their behavior, otherwise "the presence of the SP in the Assembly will last as long as a voting process."
Rama also left the floor to the Minister of Artificial Intelligence, which irritated the opposition.
He emphasized the importance that Diella, the youngest member of the cabinet, and her "AI 4" project will have in accelerating Albania's accession process to the European Union and positioning the country as an ambitious center of technological development.
"Diella will exert a decisive influence in accelerating this accession process. She will be supported by AI 4 who will have full freedom to operate."
The AI 4 accelerator will bring together the best talents within the country, Albanians in the diaspora, but also foreigners.
It will build companies that can have significant value for Albania. Diella with its AI 4 accelerator will beautifully reflect Albania as a country with ambition.
It will turn institutions into AI development platforms. I am sorry for the opposition to Dielle as a cabinet member and the misunderstandings about the role.
"Since Diella is integrated into the presidential decree, before I continue further, I ask the Assembly service to give the floor to Diella," he said.
