Albanian actor, presenter, comedian and voice actor. Ervin Bayleri has been part of the screen for more than a decade. Ervin began to shape his passion in high school and has been between the screen and the theater ever since.
Invited to "Vizioni i Pasdites", with moderator Brikena Prifti, the actor narrated the first steps of his career and how he has changed over the years.
Bayleri: I feel that I am developing day by day. I consider work the strongest point. Discipline is part of the job, but sometimes we overlook discipline a bit. I don't neglect work, except for the talent you may have. An actor believes in his talent, but it depends on how much he enjoys his talent. The important thing is to look up and you have to work hard. To keep asking more and more of yourself and never being satisfied, that's work.
Bayler says he was shy in high school. But despite this, he went on stage and received the first applause from the audience.
Bejleri: In the 1993s, when I graduated high school, these theater festivals were held for high school students. The late actress Besa Imami has arrived, who staged a theatrical piece 'Girl and death'. He dramatized it, it was a poem. I would play the evil king. There, for the first time, I received the applause of an audience who were not my friends and did not know me.
He describes the journey as difficult, especially in Albania, where he says that meritocracy is dead.
Bayleri: I consider myself lucky to have had a job. But it is difficult, because the theater or the art of cinematography, the dramatic art does not create the ease of living a normal life financially. You are forced to switch to TV, which makes you more popular, pays you more, but unfortunately does not give you the spiritual feeling that theater gives you. Not only me, but most of my colleagues end up in television.
The actor confesses that he thought of leaving Albania because living with this profession is difficult in our country.
Bejleri : I thought and am thinking of leaving because I see it as a hopeless form of living well with this profession in Albania. In a country like Albania where Tik Tok, Reels are appreciated, the momentary idiocy of some characters who come out and have some other idiots behind them. The unfortunate thing is that a lot of TV panders to this crowd, while their mission is to educate them. Morality advances society, family.
