World-renowned Albanian soprano Ermonela Jaho has been honored by the French state with the prestigious title "Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres", one of the highest honors given for extraordinary contribution to art and culture.
This recognition marks another culminating moment in the international career of Jaho , who has been one of the most prominent names on the world opera scene for years.
In her reaction, the soprano expressed that this title has a special emotional and artistic significance, describing France as a symbolic country of art and cultural values that she deeply appreciates.
