New details have been revealed regarding the murder that occurred in Mirdita, where the victim has been identified as citizen Valter Lleshi.
According to information from the police, the victim was shot while in his Toyota vehicle. The body was found this Monday morning in the village of Shkorret.
Lleshi is an employee of the basalt company in Spaç. In March of this year, a quantity of TNT was placed in one of the machines at this same company, but it did not explode.
The incident occurred on the road leading to Spaç, and the full circumstances of the murder have not yet been clarified.
45-year-old Lleshi is suspected of being the perpetrator of the 2020 murder of Anton Keli, who worked as a taxi driver in Rrëshen.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, who initiated procedural actions and evidence collection.
"Mirditë/Preliminary information. At around 07:10, in the village of Shkorret, Mirditë, on the Reps–Spaç road, citizen V. Ll., around 45 years old, was found in a vehicle, suspected of being killed with a firearm.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene and intensive checks in the area are continuing to locate and capture the perpetrator(s).
Meanwhile, a special investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to capture and administer any evidence that will serve the investigation, with the aim of fully clarifying the event, documenting it legally, and identifying and apprehending the perpetrator(s) .
