A serious incident has shaken the village of Frashër in Fier, where a 26-year-old girl killed her father by strangling him with a wire.
The victim has been identified as Anesti Rama, 56 years old, while the perpetrator, Emanilda Rama, surrendered to the police a few hours later and confessed everything.
In her testimony, the young woman stated that she had tied up her father with wire and then strangled him, claiming that the motive was related to his lack of support throughout her life. "I hated him because he never helped me, neither financially nor emotionally," she is reported to have said.
Police sources confirm that Emanilda Rama was engaged, but the relationship had ended due to the difficult economic situation.
The girl lived with her parents and worked in agriculture, while she denied ever being raped by her father.
According to police sources, the 26-year-old admitted to the crime in her testimony to the police because, according to her, her father treated her with great fanaticism, not allowing her to dress in a modern way or have fun, a behavior that exerted a lot of pressure on her in her daily life.
