His sons have also been investigated in a 2017 criminal proceeding, suspected of "murder", in qualified circumstances, committed in collaboration, and the unauthorized possession and manufacture of weapons.

Suspected assets obtained from criminal activities are seized. The Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section at the Durrës Local Police Directorate executed the criminal decision of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, Tirana, upheld by the Court of Appeal, for the confiscation of assets for the use of citizen LK.
This citizen had 1050 m2 of land seized, as well as a one-story building with a yard and a swimming pool. The property was handed over to the Agency for the Administration of Sequestered and Confiscated Assets, in the presence of the family members of citizen LK.
From the investigations so far, it results that citizen LK has benefited from these assets from the criminal activity of his 2 sons, who are suspected of the criminal offenses "Forgery of identity cards, passports or visas" and "Forgery of seals, stamps or forms".
The 2 brothers were investigated in the framework of a 2017 criminal proceeding, suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "Murder", under qualified circumstances, committed in collaboration, and "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
